Whenever one of the coworkers is heading to a vending machine, we often ask around to see if anyone wants anything.
Not very often, it seems multiple folks want something from the soda machine. When they do, I (or another co-webber) becomes the “Coke Mule” — bringing Diet Cokes, Dr. Peppers, and Coke Zeros back to the web corner.
I don’t mind it. I like to be helpful. But earlier today, one of our news producers asked the same question to the folks he sits near. It sounded like everyone needed something from the machine. I doubt he enjoys being the “Coke Mule” for 6 others…
