Saladburger

3 03 2008

We ate tasty sandwiches at Jason’s Deli yesterday and stumbled across something very odd; an occurrence we’ve termed the “saladburger.”

After heading to the salad bar, an individual will take just a small amount of lettuce (which is simply crispy water with very little nutritional value) and load up too much salad dressing, croƻtons, and plenty of other trinkets that essentially make your once healthy salad as fattening as a hamburger.

We’re confused by this. Why order a salad, trying to lose weight or eat healthy, only to destroy your “good work” with too many fattening accessories?

Grab a tasty sandwich instead…
